PRESENTATION OF LUTOS SCREW BLOWERS

At the end of September, the LUTOS division arranged its first presentation of an energy saving screw blower for its customers, business partners and other professionals. It took place in the beautiful setting of the wastewater treatment plant in Solnice, which is operated by AQUA SERVIS, a.s. from Rychnov nad Kněžnou. It was in Solnice a few weeks ago that a screw blower was installed, replacing a traditional Roots blower.

  Several dozen visitors came to this picturesque part of the country to see with their own eyes current trends in the development and production of low-pressure air sources. Mr. Ladislav Kubíček, the town’s mayor, and a representative of the operator´s management were also on hand. They were keenly interested in the new air compression technology which has up to 30% lower energy consumption.

 The presentation in an improvised lecture hall in the treatment plant also included a practical demonstration of the equipment. Visitors had a unique opportunity to see a new principle of air compression using a screw blower and to watch it in action. They were able to share their service experience with the user´s operators and look through the newly built and carefully maintained premises of the water treatment plant.

 Each visitor had the chance to speak with LUTOS sales and service representatives. Many important issues were discussed, such as energy savings, the advantages of the new blower, operation noisiness and other practical matters. Everybody was interested in something different, but all questions were answered. The cloudless sky, outdoor seating and excellent catering created a perfect atmosphere at the event.

 “We believe it was a good presentation, which will surely help to develop the new technology,” said Jiří Marhold, who is responsible for Lutos blowers. “The main advantages are the significant energy savings, lower noise, vibrations and pulsation into the pipeline.”

“Our long pursuit of improvement of the environment in Solnice and its vicinity was crowned by the construction of the Solnice wastewater treatment plant,” the mayor, Mr. Kubíček, added. “It’s operator, AQUA SERVIS, a.s., takes exemplary care of the entire premises and strives to improve the technical level of the operation. It has been documented by today´s presentation. I am very glad I can leave issues associated with wastewater treatment to a reliable professional body.”
